round me up
Round Me Up is a room-scale installation that explores self-presentation, adaptation, and the shifting boundary between public and private states. The work unfolds through layered projections, glass surfaces, and reflection, creating a space where multiple versions of the self coexist and overlap.
Using double-exposed 16mm film and live recording, the installation places an analyzed, constructed persona alongside moments of unfiltered daily life. Reflection and refraction fracture the image, allowing identity to appear unstable, multiplied, and continually reassembled.
Rather than offering a singular viewpoint, Round Me Up examines how behavior is shaped by context, observation, and repetition, and how the self is negotiated across front stage and backstage conditions.
